Maine Musicians Fire Up MLCA Fundraiser

The third annual Music, Masts and Lobster Traps took place on a clear and breezy day at the Boothbay Railway Village Museum on August 24. The event, a fundraiser for the Maine Lobster Community Alliance, featured performances by Paddy Mills, The Ole Dustys, and The Mallett Brothers Band. More than 200 people turned out to enjoy the music and fine seafood and craft beers provided by Mere Point Oyster Company and Mast Landing Brewing Company, and to show their support for the MLCA.

This annual celebration of Maine’s lobstering heritage was sponsored by XTRATUF, Brooks Trap Mill, First National Bank, Boothbay Harbor Country Club, Tindal & Callahan Real Estate, Pine State Trading, Bckwds Design Co., Pat Farrin & Sons Dirt Works, Hamilton Marine, and First Federal Savings.
