The Maine Lobstermen's Association, at the Races!

The Maine Lobstermen's Association went to the Maine lobster boat races this summer, spreading the word about the Association's efforts to protect the fishery from NMFS's flawed ten-year whale plan. While the threat from NMFS is serious, the races were not. We met lobstermen and their families enjoying the roar of the boats and the fun of being together.
